You might want to work up an appetite before heading to this event (a regular on the Hunter Valley Wine & Food Festival calendar) with this five-course degustation menu designed to highlight the region’s wide variety of produce – the “heroes” so to speak – of both wine and food.
The deliciously detailed menu has been created to ensure that the matching local wines highlight both the best of the Hunter Valley and, of course, complement the menu flavours and the wait-staff are wellversed tastebud travel-guides.

Guests are encouraged to sit back, relax and enjoy the full Hunter Valley experience. Hamish is also one of four chefs selected to compete in this year’s Hunter Culinary Association Food Fight taking place on June 18 at Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley.
The hotly-contested battle requires each chef to prepare their own lunch course matched with a Hunter Valley wine, with guests then voting for their favourite dish.
