The Hunter Valley Wine & Food Festival is continuing throughout June with so many wine and food experiences still on offer! The festival has something for everyone – from gourmet dinners at award-winning restaurants, vineyard tours, cooking classes and wine tasting experiences to cocktail masterclasses, and relaxing beside an open fire with a glass of wine and a cheese plate with friends.
Some of the great events this month include the favourite Burning of the Barrels at Glandore Estate (June 30), the Wollombi Winemakers' Winter Dinner (June 23), Hunter Valley Wine Festival (June 30), Burning of the Canes at Moorebank Vineyard (June 2) and Picnic in the Park at Kirkton Park (June 16). Try a hands-on cooking class with Il Cacciatore Restaurant (June 9+23), or learn the art of wine tasting with De Iuliis Wines' Shiraz Masterclass (every Saturday), Viva Verdelho at Tulloch Wines (daily) and the Brokenwood Progressive Tour & Taste (every Saturday).
This is the perfect opportunity for a winter getaway in the Hunter Valley, there are too many wine and food experiences to list! For more information or booking details, visit www.winecountry.com.au
