Christmas at the Visitor Information Centre

Concerts, Carols, Celebrations and anything Christmas... The Hunter Valley Visitor Information Centre team will inspire you! December kicks off with a musical bang as some of our favourite artists including John Farnham and Shania Twain take the stage. Be sure to grab your tickets for the Grapevine Gathering to see The Wombats, Client Liaison and Tkay Maidza performing live at Roche Estate.

Relax and enjoy the Christmas cheer at the free Carols in the Park event on December 7th at Cessnock Sports Ground, Santa will make a grand entrance by helicopter, and a spectacular fireworks display will light up the sky.

Christmas Gifts from the Hunter Valley Visitor Information Centre Gift Shop

Our in-centre Gift Shop showcases some of the region’s finest produce and locally made Christmas gifts. Fill those stockings with local honey, jams, condiments, oils, handmade soaps, souvenirs, skin products, handbags, lavender and so much more. We also have an Aboriginal Art Gallery and Local Artist Gallery for you to browse.

For those hard to buy for family members and unique gifts, our staff have an abundance of suggestions including adventure experiences, Mortels Sheepskin Factory Home of the big UGG boot and Hunter Valley Gardens Shopping Village with an array of jewellery, home furnishings, Alpaca products, imported beers and delicious liqueurs.

9am–5pm Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm Sundays and Public Holidays. Closed Christmas Day 25 December.
