FAMILY FUN AT HUNTER VALLEY GARDENS

The Hunter Valley Gardens are celebrating New Year’s Eve in style with an impressive firework display during the Christmas Lights Spectacular!

Explore the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest and most breathtaking display of over 2 million lights, then experience a different type of light show from 9pm with a fireworks display over the North Pole. With plenty to do before 9pm, you’ll want to get in early to enjoy three beautiful new rides, the ferris wheel, Venetian carousel and swing chair, plus the super slide and toddler inflatable zone, which will be open to visitors throughout the event.

There will be a delicious selection of food and beverage stalls catering for all types of taste buds. The entire family will be able to enjoy the event with roaming entertainment including performances by much-loved children’s music group Little Scallywagz, plus glow in the dark merchandise and walking balloons, perfect for the little people. Gates will open at 5.30pm and will close at 10pm.

HARRIGAN’S

Party into 2019 with Harrigan’s Irish Pub’s New Year’s Eve VIP Party right in the heart of the Hunter Valley! This exclusive event will ensure you start 2019 in style and for only $199 per person.

Enjoy a variety of scrumptious canapes, specially created two-course meal and private bar facilities. Your ticket also includes entry to Harrigan’s to enjoy the live entertainment from Brendan Murphy (1pm to 4pm) and Jackson Halliday (from 6.30pm until 9.30pm) followed by a DJ from 10pm until 1am and of course, the spectacular midnight fireworks!

A NEW YEAR’S EVE HARVEST AT CROWN PLAZA

Ring in the new year with friends and family at this bespoke market event, in celebration of the harvest of Hunter Valley. Savour locally sourced produce set against a Bohemian style décor, a live band and festive fireworks.

There’s no better way to begin 2019 than a celebration of life and abundance in the heart of Australia’s oldest wine region. Revellers can party the night away from 7pm until 1pm, with tickets including access to the Hunter Harvest Food Tents from7pm – 10pm (discounts available for guests staying at the hotel); an all-night grazing station available until 1am; a six-hour beverage package (from7pm – 1am); DJ and Live Band “The Adrianna Mac Big Band” and of course, fireworks by Sky Art Fireworks.

Tickets are $175 (Adult), $145 (under 18), and Entry is free for children aged 4 and under. Bookings are essential.

NYE AT THE GOLDFISH

The Goldfish New Year's Eve package (at $85 pp) includes a cocktail on arrival (from 6pm) as well as roving substantial canapes and gourmet pizzas. Dance your way into 2019 with some fantastic live entertainment courtesy of the fabulous Newcastle band Paperboy, the Sydney fireworks on the big screen and a glass of bubbles and sparklers at midnight. For patron convenience hop onboard the courtesy shuttle bus that runs within 15 kilometres of the venue - it works on a first come, first served basis.

ESTATE TUSCANY

Get your friends and family together for this glamourous six-course degustation and eat your way into 2019! Enjoy the sun setting over the stunning vineyard and mountain views from every vantage point whilst enjoying this unique experience with Hunter Valley wines specifically matched to local produce.

ESCA BIMBADGEN

Enjoy Sparkling wine and canapés on arrival, followed by a five-course degustation with optional matching Bimbadgen wines. Toast the New Year at midnight with sparkling wine and enjoy entertainment from Jenny Marie Lang.

Known as one of the hottest female blues voices in town, Jenny Marie captivates audiences with her soulful voice and sensual presence, having made a name for herself in blues & roots circles around the country.
