Extraordinary Council Meeting

Cessnock City Council will hold an Extraordinary Meeting of Council on Wednesday 24 June 2020.

Council will consider the adoption of the 20-21 Operational Plan. The Operational Plan also incorporates the 2020-21 draft budget, capital works program, revenue policy and fees and charges.

This is the final Operational Plan to deliver the objectives and plans identified in the four year 2017-21 Delivery Program.

Cessnock City Council’s General Manager Lotta Jackson thanked the community for their feedback during the public exhibition period.

“It was great to hear from our community and listen to their feedback about what we have planned. We had 71 people take the survey which is encouraging to see people sharing their thoughts. We look forward to seeing more of this in the future. I now look forward to our teams here at Council delivering these services, projects and works to the community. As always there is lots on our agenda, including a $30 million proposed capital works program.”

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing the meeting remains closed to the public, however residents can view via a live stream on Council’s Facebook page.
