Mulletfest Grand Final Takes it to the Next Level

3 DECEMBER 2022

HEBBURN MOTORSPORT PARK, KURRI KURRI

This is it, the showdown the whole country has been waiting on since 2018. Who does have Australia's best Mullet? We have spent 2022 searching far and wide for the most luscious locks. Beginning at Summernats in Canberra, Rockhampton, Perth and Alice Springs. We went Mullet hunting in Dubbo, and found the most unique mullets in Glenreagh. We found some of our cutest kids in Albury and Murrurundi and of course held a heat here in Kurri Kurri where it all began. We had some special moments on the road. We had fathers and sons both win their category in the same heat, we had people brave enough to cut their hair on stage and then go on to win. We were also moved by the generosity of the Australian people. We heard stories of hardship and struggle, of triumph and love and in every town, locals put their hands in their pockets to raise money for the Mark Hughes Foundation. We spent lots of time talking to people this year who love their Mullets. We heard about their families and their cars. We shared a Bundaberg Rum at the bar at the end of the night. We decided that since you all showed up for us this year we are going to kick it up a notch The first-ever Mulletfest Grand Final will be held at Hebburn Motorsport Park just outside Kurri Kurri in the Hunter Valley.
