If you’re looking for a shopping experience that goes beyond the ordinary, Wally and Eva in the heart of Cessnock deserves a spot on your itinerary. This lovely little store is the creative vision of local makers Lou and Mike, whose passion for Australian nature, sustainable materials and quality craftsmanship shines through each creation they make.

They have an impressive range of products for such a little space. Lou’s hand painted wood and sterling silver earring collection is a highlight. Featuring native Australian birds, animals and flora, you’ll also find an eclectic mix of designs including sea creatures, art themed and locally inspired farm animal and wine designs. Mike's woodworking skills add another dimension to their creations, most notably the handcrafted Tallowwood bases of their signature cylinder table lamps. Custom lamp shades are also available for those after something truly one-of-a-kind.

Beyond lamps and jewellery you’ll find homewares, accessories, tote bags, and ranges from other local makers including stationery, candles, apparel, and locally made Hunter lavender products.

With sustainability and the Hunter Valley front of mind, Lou and Mike create their designs using Australian hardwood, locally made plywood, plant-based bio-resin and natural fabrics. Packaging is reusable, biodegradable or compostable and they source their materials from local businesses wherever possible.

During your visit you can check out their brand new collection of handcrafted Hunter Valley inspired magnets, coasters and décor. You’ll want to come back again and again.

Located at 38 Vincent Street, Cessnock, it's an easy stop whether you're exploring the region or looking for a meaningful, handcrafted creation to take home. Browse their collection online at www.wallyandeva.com.au.
