Summer Sips


With the warmer weather we don't just crave all the fresh seasonal fruits, but also the seasonal spirits and cocktails! Here is one of our favourite recipe's using the Hunter Distillery's Valli Premium Vodka.

STRAWBERRY VODKA MOJITO

Alcoholic version

INGREDIENTS • 1/8 cup fresh mint leaves • 4 strawberries • 30 ml simple syrup • 60 ml lime juice • 90ml Valli Premium Vodka

METHOD 1. Mix together the mint leaves and strawberries in a cocktail shaker. Add remaining ingredients to the shaker and shake well. 2. Strain and serve with additional strawberries and mint leaves for garnish if desired.

 

Non-alcoholic version

INGREDIENTS • 1/8 cup fresh mint leaves • 4 strawberries • 1 lime cut into wedges • 2 tsp simple syrup • Sparkling water or soda water • Crushed ice to serve

METHOD 1. Combine the mint leaves, lime wedges and strawberries in a cocktail shaker. 2. Add simple syrup to the shaker and shake well. 3. Strain into a tall glass and add ice cubes. 4. Fill to the top with sparkling or soda water and stir to combine. 5. Serve with additional strawberries and mint leaves for garnish if desired.
