Cessnock City Council is pleased to announce a free Family Fun Day will go ahead at Cessnock Pool, Branxton Pool and the Kurri Kurri Aquatic and Fitness Centre on Sunday 27 March 2022.
Residents will gain free entry into the pools from 10am to 4pm and are invited to come along with their families to celebrate the end of the pool season.
Cessnock City Council Mayor Jay Suvaal said the free Family Fun Days have always been popular with the community and he hopes to see more of them next season.
“It was unfortunate that COVID restrictions prevented us from going ahead with the fun days over summer, but I’m glad we’re able finish the season on such a positive note,” Councillor Suvaal said.
“The Family Fun Day coincides with Kurri Kurri’s Nostalgia Festival which Council is also proudly supporting, so it is shaping up to be a fun-filled weekend and I encourage everyone to get involved.”
