When Frank Laureti was introduced to Bluegrass Cabernet Sauvignon through a friend, he subsequently took up a Saddler’s Creek Club Equus membership, which he enjoyed for over ten years.

Such was his love for the wine that when Saddler’s Creek came up for sale in 2014, Frank purchased the Pokolbin winery lock stock and barrel in partnership with his wife Wendy and brother Serge!

Frank concedes that buying into the wine business was, “a romantic notion” but as he says, “you do some things for work and some things to live – after all friends, food and wine are among life’s great pleasures.”

Frank’s passion and enthusiasm remain undiminished, and Saddler’s Creek Wines continue to create a point of difference not only with their wines but with the way they present them to an enthusiastic wine market – providing their customers with an exceptional wine experience, anywhere and every time!

Their philosophy has been consistent: to carefully select and harvest small-batch parcels of the highest quality fruit and then with a gentle hand, craft wines of premium quality – elegant, well balanced and fruit-driven.
