Kristen Hayward has suffered from chronic illness for more than 13 years and in January 2018, in search of natural remedies, was driven to create her own range of essential oil products to help support and manage her emotional and physical symptoms.

What she created quickly became her passion and her side hustle. Kristen wanted to help others who were in a similar position to herself, and so, eventually, she left her day job, and Bella Oils was born.

Bella Oils is a range of 24 essential oil products that are all handmade by Kristen and her husband right here in the Hunter. Everything in her range is her own recipe, meticulously researched, tested and trialled before being released. Unlike other essential oil products, Bella Oils are not only 100% natural, vegan and cruelty-free, but they are already diluted and ready for direct application. Kristen has taken the guesswork

and hassle out of essential oil application and created convenient blends that will support a range of lifestyle issues such as sleep, anxiety, headache, nasal congestion, focus, mood, energy, muscle stiffness, immune support and more.

Humans are not the only ones to benefit from Kristen’s unique essential oil recipes. Her Calm Doggy Spray has rapidly become one of the best-selling Bella Oils products. Almost everyone knows of a dog who suffers anxiety and stress in situations such as dog grooming, storms and car trips.

Owners are keen to provide natural, chemical-free solutions for the furry members of their family. Calm Doggy Spray is stocked by selected pet stores, veterinary hospitals and dog groomers in a testament to its efficacy.

As Kristen says, “there truly is something for everyone, and I pride myself on creating scents that appeal to both men and women, kids – even dogs! I’ve spent years building my knowledge base, and now I just want to spread the love, to help people with a convenient, affordable, hassle-free and natural solution to their issues.”

Bella Oils will be at the Handmade in the Hunter Markets on Saturday 7 and 21 November and 5 December. All 23 of her products will be available as well as gift boxes and Christmas specials. Kristen supplies testers for every product so that buyers can be sure they like the fragrance before they purchase.
