Petersons Wines has been a Hunter Valley cornerstone for over five decades, established by Ian and Shirley Peterson with their son Colin.

The family's winemaking journey began with initial vine plantings in the scenic Mount View region, where their original cellar door sits on a small hill surrounded by vineyards, offering breathtaking views of Mount Sugarloaf and the Watagan Mountains. Since then, Petersons has expanded its presence with Petersons on Broke Road in Pokolbin, positioning itself at the heart of Hunter Valley Wine Country. Both locations showcase the Peterson legacy through award-winning wines, including classic Hunter Valley whites like Chardonnay, Semillon, and Verdelho, alongside bold reds such as their signature Back Block Shiraz. Wine enthusiasts can also enjoy their delightful Sparkling Moscato and other sparkling varieties. With additional family-owned vineyards in Mudgee and Armidale, Petersons Wines continues to welcome visitors at both their Mount View and Broke Road cellar doors, offering warm hospitality and exceptional wine tasting experiences.
