DeBortoli

Classic Muscat

Muscats from Rutherglen are made in a style like no other as a result of the unique combination of climate, grape variety, soils and most of all, the reserved stocks and unsurpassed blending skills to create Muscats that are rich, complex and intense.

TASTING A fresh, aromatic style that should display characters of fresh raisins, dried fruits and nuts, and should start to show more complex characters as a result of longer time in barrel and will start to display toffee and caramel characters but still have nice raisin aromatics.

FOOD MATCH Muscat is ideal as an aperitif, especially served with chocolates. For a decadent dessert treat, place a bottle in the freezer, let it become syrupy and drizzle over ice-cream as a delicious topping, sprinkle with chopped praline.

CELLARING Up to 5 years but is delightful for drinking now.

PRICE $30

CELLARING Up to 12 months once open.

PRICE RRP $65

Parched Crow Wines

Sogni D'oro

‘Sogni D’oro’ translates to sweet dreams in Italian, and rightfully so with this sweet aperitif. A light fortified similar to the European Mistelle style but with a twist, made from Shiraz.

TASTING The ruby pink colour and raspberry-caramel aroma create an enticing contrast to the flavours of honey nectar and marmalade that seep through on the palate. The combination of these elements creates a surprising sensory experience.

FOOD MATCH Best served at either room temperature in the cooler months or on ice in Summer. Some even like to enjoy this in a spritz with a slice of blood orange.

PRICE RRP $25

Hungerford Hill

Liqueur Muscat

Grand muscat matured in oak barrels, in our cellar for over a decade. Laying in wait developing the smooth rich aromas and flavour that our members have loved for decades.

TASTING Fragrant maple and oak on the nose. A dance of honey & raisins slides across the palate. With a lingering and invigorating finish.

FOOD MATCH Sticky date pudding, viennetta birthday cake, apple crumble, or Castello blue cheese.

CELLARING Cellar for 5+ years, but why would you?

PRICE $50

DeBortoli
