The historic riverside town of Morpeth has long been known for its heritage charm, boutique appeal, and warm country hospitality.

However, this month, visitors can expect something extra special as they uncover real treasure at the inaugural Morpeth Village Treasure Trail, transforming the town into a treasure hunter's paradise from Saturday 8 – Sunday 9 November! Not just any vintage market, it's a curated journey linking antique dealers through historic venues along High Street. The one-kilometre trail offers everything from Deco-era furniture to mid-century ceramics, with expert dealers providing free coin and stamp valuations. Coinciding with the national Garage Sale Trail Event—Australia’s grassroots celebration of reuse and community, the Morpeth event captures the best of both worlds, sustainability with style. By championing pre-loved treasures, the trail embodies sustainable shopping while supporting local businesses. Between discoveries, visitors can enjoy artisan boutiques and beloved cafes, turning treasure hunting into a complete weekend escape! For more information, visit www.itmustbemorpeth.com.au.
