Hosted by Balloon Aloft, the event will is a unique and fun night out for the whole family. Inspired by incredible bazaars around the world, the evening will kick-off with a family-friendly night market offering some of the Hunter Valley’s best food, wine, and hand-made crafts. The festivities will also include musical performances throughout the night, while roving performers, face-painting and jumping castles are sure to keep kids of all ages entertained.

Two-times Women's World Ballooning Champion, Nicola Scaife will be on hand to answer any of your ballooning questions as you walk through a semi-inflated hot air balloon and learn how a balloon operates. From here, grab the kids and explore the amazing balloon display.

“We are so excited to have these balloons, and spectators will be too. There will be no shortage of photographic opportunities,” says Balloon Aloft senior pilot, Matthew Scaife.

The event hopes to inspire everyone to “get their glow on”, and immerse audiences in lighting up the night. Glow-in-the-dark t-shirts, glasses, headbands, and other glow items will all be available for purchase during the event.

“The night is just a real celebration, for kids and families… and we have worked hard to ensure we are making this a family-friendly night, for all generations,” adds Balloon Aloft's Michelle Wills.

Of course, the main celebration and the highlight of the evening will start at 8pm when the spectacular balloon night glow performance sees hot air balloons light up their burners and take flight in the dark.
