The Hunter Valley comes alive this September with the D'Vine Wine and Food Festival, showcasing Pokolbin's culinary and viticultural excellence. Scheduled for 19-21 September, this weekend extravaganza offers once-yearly experiences that are unmissable for food and wine enthusiasts.

The festival transforms the historic Hermitage Road precinct into a vibrant hub featuring sweeping vineyard views, exceptional wines, live music, and authentic Hunter Valley hospitality. The street-long food festival showcases Pokolbin's finest offerings in an immersive experience extending beyond traditional wine tasting.

Friday evening launches with an exclusive Winemakers Dinner featuring canapé-style cuisine by Yellow Billy's award-winning chef Sam. Guests can mingle with respected regional winemakers while enjoying wine-matched courses and behind-the-scenes stories, hosted by Wine Selectors' Paul Diamond.

Beyond exceptional wine and food, D'Vine offers adventure activities including e-bike vineyard rides, Segway cruising, archery, and clay target shooting. Those preferring relaxation can enjoy Spicers' Luxe Breakfast, accompanied by mimosas, yoga sessions, and chair massages.

The festival features barrel tastings at Glandore Wines, intimate Vigneron Experiences at Latitude 32 Wines, and wine-paired BBQs at Hunter Wine Lab. Pop-up displays showcase luxury cars, local art, gourmet markets, and Italian festival vibes.

Recognising that great experiences are best shared, D'Vine welcomes families and pets to most events. Thoughtfully planned children's activities include outdoor games, crafts, and entertainment in spacious vineyard settings.

The festival offers comprehensive transport services with shuttle bus passes for just $35 covering the entire weekend. Around Hermitage accommodation guests receive included pick-up and drop-off services, plus shopping concierge assistance.

Free festival registration is essential due to capped venue numbers. Registration includes a festival kit and serves as your passport to discover amazing artisan producers and winemakers. The festival recommends staying at least two nights, with special accommodation packages available exclusively for D'Vine guests.

The D'Vine Wine and Food Festival perfectly combines the Hunter Valley's greatest assets: exceptional wine, outstanding food, and warm hospitality, all in one of Australia's most celebrated wine regions.
