Running Horse Wines
2016 Bookmakers Umbrella Shiraz – RRP $25
From the Hunter’s newest and most unique cellar door located in Broke Fordwich comes this exceptional Shiraz. Summertime in Australia is pretty much hot days and warm evenings, BBQ’s and outdoor eating. By bottling this wine early after 6 months in a 2,300 litre foudre barrel this Shiraz retains a lot of its primary fruit flavours. With very soft tannins it can also be enjoyed slightly chilled. Perfect for sipping under the shade of a Big Umbrella.
FOOD MATCH A classic with Mediterranean mezze platters and Italian pastas, perfect at BBQ’s. A very safe bet.
CELLARING A deep cherry red colour so will handle at least 5 years of cellaring, though made to get up and running early.
Mistletoe Wines
2017 Home Vineyard Semillon – RRP $24
Another high quality, off-dry Semillon from the Mistletoe
Home Vineyard. Hand harvested from low cropped 25 year old vines, cold fermented without any oak influence.
TASTING Bottled early to retain the crisp acidity and lemon grapefruit characters typical of its vineyard.
FOOD MATCH Perfectly suited to freshly shucked oysters, ideal for a Summer Luncheon.

2014 Hunter Valley Chardonnay – RRP $33.50

From the secluded Thompsons Valley in Broke Fordwich where culture, tradition and the environment are respected and nurtured. TASTING Layers of primary fruit characters and creamy notes with extended palate. A zesty elegant Chardonnay with ripe peach and orange blossom lift with spicy French oak. FOOD MATCH Delicious with seafood, chicken, turkey, spicy vegetarian, or with any hard organic cheese or soft brie. CELLARING 8 to 10 years.
Irongate Estate
2018 Hunter Valley Rosé – RRP $30
Iron Gate Estate is a unique wine estate nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley with a history of individual flair reflected in both its architecture and winemaking philosophy. This wine is a carefully assembled blend of red and white fruit grown on the Estate which has resulted in a pink rose-blush wine of complexity and style.
TASTING With aromas of redcurrant, passionfruit, melon and raspberry and an easy-going palate of red berries and a refreshingly drying finish, this wine is sure to please.
